To me Cellski is many things. The King of Randolph street. The mixtape king of the Bay Area. The taker. But did you know that Cellski is also a citizen journalist?
As I write this, Cellski is live "tweeting" (slang for the use of Twitter, a micro-blogging service that is quite popular with the kids) some sort of air terror scare that involves a guy going into the bathroom for 20 minutes and coming out shirtless, shoeless, with a razor in his hand. Could have been a shaving mix-up, but who knows. As Cellski points out, "Dude was Arabic or Indian too...that was the tweak". And everyone knows that those dudes don't shave.
That reminds me that Haji Springer put out a new video for "Let Me See You Move" last night. It features Jacka and Stressmatic (remember The Federation?). No one really "raps", per se. You'll see what I mean.
Anyway, it's apparently an AirTran flight, which was Cellski's first mistake, and it's grounded in Denver right now. I checked CNN, and there's nothing yet, so Cellksi is our only source of information right now. I really like the idea that his TwitPics could very well be running on national news outlets for the next 24 hours. No one will know that the same guy who took that picture put out this album:

I mostly like it for the "my money stay long like an aconda" line there at the start. I'd hate to say any more, lest I be accused of (or praised for?) looking too deeply into Cellski's writings.

Nice blog journalism! That Cellski album cover was my favorite of the year. The idea of one dressing up in full chef garb to cook crack is infinitely hilarious to me.
Does anyone else recognize the location of that Haji Springer video? Isn't that a Persian restaurant in the tenderloin? They would have underground parties there. Its been years since I've been down there, but if I remember correctly the girls bathroom had this huge clamshell for the sink.
